I was an early Open University student and then took a Fine Art Degree at North Devon College and Exeter College of Art, awarded by Plymouth University.  It was there that I discovered printmaking.  I was lucky enough to catch the final years of the traditional print rooms.  Presses, inks, papers and processes going back centuries.

Alongside and complementing my individual work, I am one of the group of printmakers called Pine Feroda.  We come together several times a year to make large scale woodcuts. We had an Arts Council Award to travel to China last September to broaden our knowledge and approaches to the ancient practice of woodcut printmaking.
